i agree about the dust. it could be a bit heavier on the bottom and rear deck but not always. i think it is the right amount; it is very easy to overdo.

i weather a lot with powders and just started experimenting with artist pastels.

Thanks sir

Looks pretty good. Hope I have as much success on mine.

I have one up next on the workspace. Even went all out and bought all sorts of aftermarket stuff for it. Going to read up on yours, hopefully I can pick up a thing or two.

Thanks sir. Well, buying aftermarket is always a good, if you can invest the extra time, that is. This baby only needs the barrel for aftermarket. Tamiya released their own etch parts for this so you should get that as well. The other etch parts can be avoided if you are not a obessive rivit counter. Need any pointers, feel free to PM sir. Happy to help.

Thanks Gamera. Pigments alone won't give me this kind of finish, sir. I used Enamels for the underlying dust AND a very thing layer of Pigment dust to give that ''fresh'' dust layer. But yes, knowing how to play around with the pigments really makes weathering easier.

Good point about the Dust, sir.... I will keep that in mind.

Again super job!!! Love the complex multi-tone camo and the dust looks great! I need to learn how to use pigments more effectively. One nitpick and it is a minor one, the dust would probably be heavier around the lower areas and somewhat less on the upper areas like the top of the turret. Just a minor issue- A1 job all around!

Btw: Die-cast metal wheels? Yeah, I've never seen a Tamiya kit come like that- interesting feature.

Welcome to yet another finished product, ladies and gents. This year has been a pretty good year for me, Modelling wise. I picked up so many skills from my books and magazines and I am on a building spree. This time, I will be adding a Tamiya 1/35 LeClerc Series 2 to my finished kits line.
As you know, I'm striving to improve myself and would appreciate feedback, comments, tips and advices again.

The whole story regarding this build can be found on my blog post.

I don't want to fill the forum with so many pics ( its already hard enough to post pics here LOL ) and a rather long post. Please do have a look. Thanks in advance for any feed back you guys might have.
