The early Academy decals are terrible. I painted the red and whites on the turret as well as the ones in the sand guards.

Thanks bill.

Very much appreciated. I made a deliberate attempt to keep the scheme from looking as BLUE as i had seen on other builds. I always thought it should have been a little more subdued.

Just MHO.

Thanks guys.

I really like this kit. Fun and easy to build.

Some minor issues including a slightly warped lower hull  (fixed with hot water).

Plenty of track connectors but barely enough track pads if you opt for the individual links.

I broke two pads and it left me with exactly enough to do the job.

The band tracks look pretty good if you go that route.

All in all an excellent kit for the price.

Major Robert Crisp would be proud of this "brazen chariot"!  Very nice work and a good inspiration to others like me who have this in their kit stash.

Looks nice to me and I can't find any problems with the decals either.

Nice looking M3!  Keep up the good work!

May I make 2 suggestions? 1) the upper left tail light was not red but black.  2) the inside faces of the hatches were not white but olive drab.  Hope these help

Hi Wayne. Thanks bud.

Yeah the decals seemed a foot thick and acted as if they had no adhesive. I had to use Future to make them stick. Also several applications of decal set to make them conform.

Probably would have been easier to just paint the markings on....maybe next time.

very nice. subtle weathering which i appreciate more and more. i have heard academy decals are annoying. can't tell from the pics you had any problems.

Anyway I hope you like it.
