                        Thijs, The HL230P30 is the correct engine for the tiger. This set has a tiger engine and a Panther engine which is the P45. Also the P45 is suitable for the Tiger II and Jadgtiger (I believe)

                        I have this set on order myself... How are the figures... decent. I only really bought it for the engines and tools.

                        Hello all,

                        Some days ago I bought a 1/35 Tamiya "Tiger 1 Ausführung E Frühe Produktion" (kit nr:35216)and I bought a set for it named "german tank crew engine maintance set"and i was wondering if I could fit this engine I got with it nto the tiger I bought.
                        This crew sets gives to options for engines I can build into it: a Maybach HL 230 P30 engine and a Maybach HL230 P45. which engine should i build into it

                        thanks for your reply and I will post some pics here if I finnish the tank
