ModelKasten King Tiger II...Can you identify
Posted by IBuild148 on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 11:39 PM

I finally broke open the box of ModelKasten KT II tracks for my Dragon KT.

I'm doing it for the BIG CAT GB. I was hoping to get something done tonight but have run into a question?

The attached photo has 2 unidentified pieces in the CENTER of the sprue not mentioned in the insructions and will hope someone here can identify what these are for?

If Bill see's it he'll chime in. I checked the "MK" website but that didn't pan out!

Those are the 'spacers' for the side skirts on the Tiger where they attached to the hull (use only if you are showing the side skirts off or missing). They are provided as a nice little 'extra' in the kit that MK, for whatever reason, neglects to tell you about in the instructions. They do this from time to time in other sets as well...it's an 'Easter Egg' type of thing. Wink
