White Wash

Is this an acceptable white wash?  There won't be a turret.  A few odds and ends to touch up.

I haven't done anything, except get the white applied.  This was the result of striping a bad paint job.

I think it works. It looks nice and scruffy as whitewash should. Is this gonna be a Bergepanzer?

That You.  Actually, I'm going to attach a flak 38 to it.  It has joined my long list of waiting for parts.  But, I have quite a bit of reassembly and detailing before I am ready to mount the aa.

Interesting conversion... They actually mounted a FLAK 38 (single 20mm) on a Mk.IV hull? Or is this a 'what if' project?

Actually, it's a quad 38.  They tried the wirbelwind, but this one will be a last ditch effort.  Gives me some artistic license, as well as an introduction to scratch building.

I believe after the Whirbelwind an "Ostwind" was created with a single Flak 43 in 3.7cm. This was done to increase the range and effectiveness of the aa.

However I have not seen one with a Flak 38 mounted.

Try searching Google, for "wirblewind".  Tons of photos, mounting the quad 38.

OK, the Flakvierling makes sense. A Mk.IV hull seems like too much vehicle for the single FLAK 38, but perfect for the quad mount.

Ah....sorry capnluki... I read it as you were going to add just a single Flak 38 not the quad. I havent seen any photos with a single 38.
