Hi guys.
I came across this video of Syria. It is great footage in FHD, very well taken video.
I like the video because you can see armor in battle field, how its actually damaged, colors of damage, weathering (almost none), and creative ways to add additional protection.
Like adding wire all around the turret, like a basket, and filling it with sand bags, concrete pieces, bricks. There are some very close shots. There is even some reactive armor just hanging, I bet if someone would have built a model with reactive armor falling apart, someone would say "crew would never left it like that", so this widens our views, so anything can happen in war...
If you look closely, you will even see a soldier with a "bob sponge squarepants backpack" ..yes, if you don't see it, let me know...I will let you know the time it shows up.
Again, this reinforces the idea of "it looks odd or unreal", in war ANYTHING is possible.
I will steal some ideas from this, for my next project...
