WIP 1/35 M151 IDF (8 AUG)

Hey all, this is something I started a couple days ago. I know that the IDF actually used A2's not this A1 kit from Academy but oh well. It is my understanding that the some of the A2's had the driver seat windshield, not the whole one found in this kit (though it's not used). That is about the only "update" I've done and will probably do to make it closer to the "real" thing. Here's where I'm at so far....

I added detail to the radio, first time doing it so I'm pretty happy, though next time I'll try to make the headset and wire a little more "in scale" (I think it might be a little to thick")

For the ammo cans on the fender I scratched a rail to hold them in place, the spare tire will go on the end. I need to repaint the jerry can on the floorboard a different color since it's a US jerry can. From sources I've read IDF used all kinds of jerry cans, however, only the IDF ones were black.

Here's the windshield, mocked up with a tarp on the front to see how it looks, I'm going to sand the bottom down to get the tarp a bit more of a lower profile and take care of some seams and then it'll be fine, right now it's border line in the way of the FN MAG line of fire.

Here's the FN MAG's and other gear, still gotta do a little cleanup and some more painting.

Questions and comments welcome.

Progress looks good so far.

I think the gasoline cans and water cans were painted differently.

Gas cans were vehicle color and / or water containers were black rubber/plastic
