Is this going to be a straight out of the box build? This model should be a fun build.

I'm curious about the "mistakes"  made assembling the rear panel

Yeah, straight out of the box. I'm not good enough yet to justify buying all the nice after market parts. On the rear panel I put the doors upside down and didn't catch it until it was dry... fortunately I was able to fix it :)

Took a break on the hull to start the turret, there was a big seam line on the back and the smoke grenade launchers needed to be drilled out to look more realistic. Coming along nicely, pretty happy so far :)

The turret all but done, just need to some PE parts and that's that. I'm not looking forward to assembling the rear panel to the upper and lower hull, there is a big nasty gap.

After all the the gaps were filled on the back panel this is the 99% completed model kit without paint. Over all I liked the kit, would recommend buying. Certain small parts had quite a bit of flash and mold lines. The back panel didn't go on smoothly either, big old gaps when putting that on. Other than those issues it was a fun build and I look forward to building Trumpeters LAV-R next.

Looking good.

When you build straight from the box, you get a lot of fun, easy, simple kit...not messing with tons of PE, tracks, resin, etc.. sometimes less is more.

I cant wait to see the painting.
