I know you don't build them yourself, which has garnered some disdain around here, but I gotta say that's a very impressive collection.kudos

That is the most amazing thing I've seen this month! It is your residence we are looking at, right? Incredible. I am speechless.

I wish I could understand the words. I think I caught "coffee" (appears it is pronounced very closely to Chinese for "coffee".

I think congratulations are in order for making it to Thai TV!!!!

That sir, is the most impressive collection of models I have ever seen!  All I can say is WOW!  Thanks for sharing that....I really wish we could get it translated.  I'd love to hear his questions and your answers!

Thanks for posting these, it's nice to get a chance to 'meet' you if only though the interview. I knew you had a large collection but I didn't know it was a world record.

I too wish there were subtitles!

Boy, that is quite a collection! Congrats, MM.   Toast

The title of the post  made me wince though, I thought it was about an entirely different subject. I was glad that it was referring to television.

Thanks for all kind feedback! I really appreciate them!

Greg - Yes, that's my residence. It's my mother's house accommodating my mother, myself,

my youngest brother, his wife and three teenage sons. We also have a young maid, two golden retrievers, a parrot, a sharker fish and hundreds of peacock-tailed fishes. My collection has occupied a lot of space in the house. Apart from my own room I still have another small room to keep my stash:

falconbbs.com/13jul2013-04.jpg

but I'm running out of space to keep both built and un-built kits and will to have the way out.

The Channel is named "Home & Food" Channel and the program is named "Coffee Model", a one hour program on collection items, coffee shops and movie posters.

Eagle90 - Apart from collection of models, I also have an impressive collection of songs on my sound page. And same as my model website, it sports the best of both worlds - quality and quantity. Now I have over 1,000 songs mostly English and it's difficult to browse or navigate through all of them. So I've written a Blog to serve as site map or site guide, with full listings of songs and links to about half of them. The Blog is in Thai but song listings and links are in English, so you can make use of it too. Whatever songs you like, there are about 95% chance that you'll find them on my page. And here's my Blog:

subfixer - what TVs could have been if not Televisions? I wonder.

SprueOne - That's good idea! Anyone who have Thai friends can make use of them now.

That is quite the collection in your stash MM, I will check out the videos when I get home for sure. I have to ask though, with that entire stash just sitting there, do you build at all, or just collect? Do you ever get the urge to pop open a box and try your own hand at it? These questions are not meant to start a war, just curious.

I built hundreds in the far past - armors, warplanes, warships, etc. Some time I still feel the urge to build myself, but when I open a box, see its contents, count the colors it needs to be painted and the decals to be applied, the laziness sets in and then I retreat. Knowing all so well that however best I try, it will never get near the ones built by my artists. And of late my interest has been more on songs than on models because the responses from listeners and followers are much more evident and tangible than the responses from model site viewers. I know the number of plays, the number of likes, the number of re-posts and number of downloads of each and every song.
