Tiger I "what the heck is it" part.

I am in the process of hand painting the tools and tow wires on the Dragon Tiger I late/final and I have one part that is perplexing me as to it's purpose and if it should be painted or not (and if so what color.)  Specifically it is part P29, but since I am sure no one has the parts numbers for this kit memorized ( ) it is the "tool" that is latched to the deck right next to the antenna stub on the right side, middle rear.  It looks like some kind of pipes connected into a right angle and with some kind of cap on the end.  I assume it is a tool because it uses latches like the other tools.  Dragon's instructions barely even show it being placed, let alone painting instructions.  I have scanned a slew of Tiger I walkarounds and try as I might I can't find a picture of the "tool" in question.  If I have to I can get some pictures of the part taken and posted later.  All I need to know is what it is supposed to be painted to look like...metal?  Wood?  Base color?  Anything at this point is better than nothing.
