I too built it a few years ago, basically OOB with the addition of a scratch engine compartment, wheel skirts and a few missing pieces in the driver's area. The engine was pretty easy to do, it was just a straight six. I built it using some sheet syrene stock and bits and pieces from other engines. The radiator cowl was vac-formed over a carved balsa form. The wiring and hoses are different sized pieces of solder and fine copper wire. Battery is out of a jeep kit, etc., etc... Like I said, it wasn't too difficult.
