The rubber on the wheels is not masked before painting on the real thing, of course, so I assume this represents a newer vehicle.  Nice build.

...and yes, I do have experiance on the real things (modern armor, of course) - masking, painting and all.

One more thing I can see. The "Das Reich"  symbol on the front plate , would usually have been painted on an area devoid of Zimmermitt, not over it.

Specially with the dust being the exact same color as the hull. I think the bigger the scale the easy to do, once things get microscopic like PE for 1/72 thats a challenge.

Sorry, but the first thing I noticed was the rubber road wheels. Sticks out like a sore thumb. For someone as experienced as AI, i think that is a school boy error. And no amount of dust would cover up the rubber like that.

Also from first hand experience.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

Have you ever tried zimmeritting a Tiger in this scale and painted it with hobby airbrush - not the industrial type one?

No, but have you either?  Oh wait, the answer is no, since you don't build them.  If you did, you would know a commercial spray gun puts out way too much paint and that a hobby airbrush is the correct tool to use.  I have built plenty of other large models and actually have first-hand experience, unlike you.

I think you have a point about the rubber rims. But this sure is not a rush job. Have you ever tried zimmeritting a Tiger in this scale and painted it with hobby airbrush - not the industrial type one?

I'm sorry, but for a model of this scale, I am a little disappointed that there is not more rubber showing on the wheels. They are not metal wheels and if the dirt/mud is as sticky as is shown, I would think that there should be some on the track. This to me really looks like a rush job.
