I've got the one that was used to tow the 88mm,as I have plans for a battlefield diorama.I plan on using the Tamiya 88mm kit.My question is this:how accurate is the Trumpeter kit,and do I have to do a ton of modifications to get it accurate?

It depends on how accurate you want to be.  This here will explain most of what needs to be adjusted.

You might get a DML 8.8cm Flak gun instead.  HUGE improvement over the classic Tamiya gun.

If you've not gotten the Trumy kit so far, it's accepted that the DML kits were better

Thank you, guys.  I had no idea DML had them, only knew about the Trumpeter ones.

I was talking it over with two friends of mine at the LHS, the owner must have heard us; the next time we came in, he had all the Trumpeter 1/35 halftracks. So I got one.

I plan on being pretty accurate.  I invited all my friends criticisms, knowing they are German armor, or armor in general, enthusiasts.

I will be checking the links.
