The official GB thread is up! Please don't post in the feeler anymore.

Here's the link: http://cs.finescale.com/fsm/modeling_subjects/f/29/t/156837.aspx

I will list all the entries posted here in the GB build list, but plesae confirm your entries over there as well.

I'd like to enter a Tamiya 1/48 Jagdtiger-- still in its original shrinkwrap  -- just about to start a WNW Sopwith Pup , so the Jagdtiger will be a nice change of pace -

Regards,

Mike

Cliff: I'd love to see you uilding that M-10!

Jero: Sorry, but I have to say no to that one. You are well over the 50% mark I set the limit at...

Bish: Your'e not stepping on my toes at all. Thanks for helping me out!

Hi,

I would like to enter a Su-100 in Egypt service.

Dragon.

The kit will never get done without a timeline to follow.

The kit is 30 % down in assembly (roadwheels and tracks) but 99% to go to completion.

Very Best Regards

Johan

Clemons: I think by the first of the year I'll hopefully have some stuff done so could you put me down as a provisional with an AFV Club 1/35th M10?

JeroMech: As Bish pointed out- you're almost done here, maybe you could post her in the armour forum when she's done and start another kit for the GB? I'd like to see how you do the camo and detailing.

jeromech, I don't want to step on SS's toes here. It's usual to join a GB with a build that's un started or at most slightly started, usually no more than 50%. I know he hasn't mentioned this yet, I am guessing he will put that in on the GB thread.

Your build looks a bit past the 50% mark, I reckon you could finish that by Jan. The main point of the G is to post pics of your progress from start to finish and share it with everyone.

Your loks a cracking build, I am sure we would all love to see more of it. If SS doesn't allow this one, maybe you have something in the stash that's unstarted you could enter with and maybe do a separate thread for the one you are doing.

It's been a while since I've been in a group build and this looks like the perfect one to start 2013 with so if I may, I'd like to join with the 1/35 Tamiya Marder II

wayne, I decided to postpone the Halftrack GB. I just felt that there wasn't space for it at the moment. Also, Eagle and myself have been talking about hosting twin GB's starting in june for armour in Europe to commemorate the end of the war. Going to post a feeler thread in the new year.

I think there only room for so many armour GB's at once. And hopefully the time frame of ours won't clash to much with Eric's N Africa GB and SS's TD GB.

I will be going back to the halftrack idea at the end of next year early 2015. maybe start it as the Hunter's GB ends.

no worries. it is the dragon M-3 75mm GMC and i can crossover with bish's HT GB. or may do a dml SU-76 and cross it with SPA GB.

Tony: That's one insteresting looking TD! I really like the look of it. May I ask you what company produces a kit for that one?

Cliff: Thanks for the list, mate!

Wayne: Sorry, but no modern vehicles... The Heter would be a great subject though! Is that Halftrack an M3 GMC?

Clemons: I keep meaning to tell you and forgetting those are sharp looking badges.

If you're still compiling a list of various tank destroyers here are some US hardware I dug up:

M6 37mm GMC 'Fargo' (37mm gun mounted on a 3/4 ton truck by the Fargo Division of Chrysler)

T12 / M3 75mm GMC (halftrack)

M10

M18 Hellcat

M36

UK: Lend-Lease M3s and M10 (Achilles and Wolverine)

Free French: M3 and M10 (M36s used after the Second World War)

ROK: South Korea received several used US M36s during the Korean War

Soviet:

SU-85

SU-100

ISU-122

Probably others as well

i hvae a HETZER and an american halftrack with 75mm gun like at kasserine but was leaning toward a modern PLA 6x6 TD or an 8x8 CENTAURO TD, both guns not ATGMs
