I still like Rob's "Tracked Tin Cans"
or maybe "Tin Can Tanks"
The goofiness continues.....maybe Clemens can use these for the badge?
Not so goofy!
Just my !! I'm good with whatever is decided!
Ernest
Last Armor Build - 1/35 Dragon M-26A1, 1/35 Emhar Mk.IV Female
Last Aircraft Builds - Hobby Boss 1/72 F4F Wildcat & FW-190A8
Ok.. Steel Can. But whatever can it is, they're still Steel/Tin/Aluminum-can Tanks
tincan panzers?
Никто не Забыт (No one is Forgotten)Ничто не Забыто (Nothing is Forgotten)
Maybe... Tank in a Can?
I vote for "Tracked Tin Cans" (If I'm allowed to vote...)
I like Rob's!!
Some others that sprang to mind:
Yeah, they're goofy, but so am I!!
How about "Tracked Tin Cans"?
Well.... I think the term "feather weight" applies... but not wholly... Just "light tanks and tracks gb"?
Just one question regarding the badge: What's the name of the GB going to be?
Sure, why not, Schatten.
Rob: If you still want to build that Panzerjäger I, I'd love to have that one in the Hunters II GB...
Mikey: I could create a basic badge for this GB, if you need someone to do it...
I'll build a JB Models Vickers light tank then.
Wayne: No wheeled vehicles. Only fully tracked vehicles. And it is non-specific to any era. So any era, fully tracked vehicles classified as "light," including, but not specific to: Light tanks, Tankettes, or fully tracked combat cars. This does not include anything not classified as the one of the above. Sorry.
Rob: Isn't the Panzerjäger I a tank destroyer? You can do a Panzer I but not a Panzerjager I. This build includes the light tanks but not the different categorical variants. Sorry. So, again, you can build a Pz.I but not a Pz.Jg.I
It is odd to think that a vehicle like an M113 ACAV has more firepower than virtually any variant of the Panzer I!
I dug out an ex-Esci Italeri Panzerjaeger 1 Ausf. B w/Pak 43 that I will build.
ok so no DAK crossover. a couple of questions
like ROB said i have a number of warwheels that would fit that category 4x4 , 6X6 and 8X8 with gun or ATGM unless this is specific to WW2.
if specific to WW2 would variants on light tank chassis count like PZ-! command vehicles or PZ-1 w/ FLAK?
i like the idea of holding off until may or june.
It's a light tank. It's included.
Yeah Mikey, scratch that crossover with Eric's North Africa GB. However, I've been itching to build the MiniArt 1/35 T-70M Soviet Light Tank....what do you think?
Ok. Well, whoever was doing a build in the African GB can't do that build here. But if you have another light tank, then you can do that one here.
Hey, I'm sorry to disappoint you guys, but Eric doesn't allow crossovers in his Africa GB...
bufflehead Mikey, would crossovers be allowed? I might be doing a light tank for Eric's North Africa GB.......
Mikey, would crossovers be allowed? I might be doing a light tank for Eric's North Africa GB.......
hey bufflehead you thinking of the dragon DAK PZ-1B? i have a pair of those and was thinking about it too.
I'm in with the Leopard then!
Ah. ok... Yeah, those are ok as long as they were or were to be classified as "Light tanks."
MikeyBugs95Ok... What is a "paper tank?"
Ones that were designed but never put into production in real-life.
Ok... What is a "paper tank?"
I have an Pz.38(t) as well, if you don't want paper tanks in your GB.
Are "paper tanks" allowed as well? If so, I'm in with HobbyBoss' 1/35 Leopard:
I have some special plans on how to paint this little bugger
Ok. I will amend this to only be Light tanks. That is, tanks, classifieds by their country's respective military forces as being "Light tanks," are allowed. So a M4 Sherman is not included, but a M24 Chaffee is.
Sure. As long as it's also within the guidelines of that GB as well.
