hi fellas , just wondering if they used perforated steel plating (psp) during ww2 on or by armour (us,german??) they used the stuff for airfields but do not know if they used it on tanks Tongue [:P] have several plates laying around from verlinden from the past (found them again Big Smile [:D]) and would like to use it in future projects.

I have seen pics of vehicles carrying it but don't know if was being used as armor or just being transported for the engineers.

Hi alot of desert soft skins used them to get them outta trouble, i think tank tread would just cut them up like a can opener

Nothing much extra to add. Like Derek said I've seen many photos of Shermans carrying it, mostly in the Pacific theater, presumably for runways as you've said.
