Hola fellow scale warriors, its been little while since i posted a build on here. I've been busy with work and all that grown-up responsibility stuff but I finally got this one done. It was built mostly OOB, I added bent steel wire for the tow cable hooks on the back so its easier to loop the tow cables and I used Fruil tracks which worked excellent and I think i'll be using them from now on. Its finished with Vallejo Model Air Panzer Grey and MM Panzer Chocolate Brown and Vallejo Pigments to dirty up the running gear.
On The Bench: Dragon 1/35 Jagdtiger Henschel
On Deck: Dragon 1/35 Ferdinand
Nice job on this one, I have the same kit in the stash for building at some point in the future. These early-war tanks have always held a fascination for me even if they didn't see too much in the way of actual combat use beyond Poland.

Looks great!

Yeah I know, I don't think the Model A was in service very long b/c of its thin armor so I didn't heavily weather it except for the running gear, and alota weathering wouldn't show up well anyway b/c of the dark grey base coat.
Panzer chocolate brown?, is that a real color?....what will they come up next, sherman green lantern?
But your model looks very good and weathered!!
Thumbs up!
The technical name is Model Master Schokoladenbraun which translates to Chocolate Brown.
Hey, hey...
Looks really good, even with the dark gray finish!
The tracks look great too.
Great looking build. Nice to see this early two tone scheme, I know Bill is a big advocate of that scheme for early war armour.
I wouldn't mind adding this kit myself, how was it to build.
I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so
On the bench: Airfix 1/72nd Harrier GR.3/Fujimi 1/72nd Ju 87D-3
It wasn't too hard, the wheels and suspension take the longest. The vents on the side are a little hard to install b/c the directions are confusing, but you everything fit together well. I used some steel wire bent to shape for the tow cable hooks on the back since the plastic ones want to break off easy. Its has those horrible German tool clamp PE parts so I'd recommend using the Eduard clamps since they're one piece and easier to use if you wanna go that route. Overall its a good kit I have the Ausf E Vorpanzer and Ausf D 3-in-1 in the stash, just need some Fruil tracks for those.
Dragon instructions confusing, never . Thanks for the info.
Very nice! I'd love to see a tutorial. This is my only tank I've built and painted, and I've only been into 1/35 for about six months. I'm also 13, so I only spray painted this Panzer II German Grey. I didn't airbrush it because I don't own an airbrush. I used my friend's airbrush when needed. I also have a T-34/76 that needs painted too.imagezps54bc6bbb.jpg.html
"Tanks" for reading. Wow. Did I really just say that?
With Christmas coming up no better time to ask for an airbrush. You can get you a really good one for about $50-60 and itll last for many years if you keep it clean. Its just the compressors that get expensive.
