A question
Posted by MKelley on Monday, December 16, 2013 6:32 AM

I was reading one of my WWII Time Life books again and came across a picture of an US vehicle that I have never remember seeing before. It had 2 .50 cal. machine guns with the big drum magazine and what looked to be either a single 20mm or 37mm mounted on what appeared to be a 2 1/2 ton truck. Any ideas what it might be? The pictures show a long line of German prisoners marching to a POW camp and the vehicle going the other way. It is close to the end of the war in Europe.

It could be an M15 or M15A1, which had 2 .50 and a 37mm mounted on a halftrack..
