i agree on desert. i suspect some of that desert sand faded a lot. and the weathering is great.

Colours / Kits use: Afrika Korps Colors from AK interactive and D.a.k weatherings set from ak interactive.

Mainly the tank got its color after this 3 steps:

1) First of all I painted the entire tank in black(pre-shading)

2) Secondly, I sprayed the tank using the RAL8020 Braun (AK 700)

3) thirdly I applied a Filter (2 layers) on all the tank.  (AK-065 Africa korps filter)

While it does look very light, I would say its more desert than white wash. What colours did you use.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

It looks to me like a desert vehicle, jpl.

But it's not a tank. Doesn't have a main gun.

Hello guys!,  At first glance do think that this tank looks like a winter tank for dessert?(africa korps).
I'm trying to achieve a dessert type look but it didn't come out quite like I expected. Anyways I'm still liking it and having lots of fun.
(PS: Tank is not yet finished, will post the final result when done).
Thanks in adv.
