Modeling MOJO
Posted by Anonymous on Wednesday, February 25, 2004 7:36 AM
Call it what you will...

"Mojo", "In the Groove", "In the Zone" For the past month, I'm there!

It's been pretty cold here in Ohio and I do my airbrushing in the garage (yeah, yeah, I need to get a booth for indoors) so, instead of painting, I've been getting builds done. These have gone together flawlessly and I hope I keep this Mojo for awhile yet. In addition, I'm still working on my Academy Jackson for the group build.

Here they are....

Tamiya M60A1 W/Reactive Armor (Complete less painting & weathering):

Tamiya M2A2 (Complete less painting, supplies & weathering):

Tamiya Panzerkampfwagen IV Ausf H (complete less painting & weathering):

Tamiya M1025 Hummer Armament Carrier (Almost complete):

And for J-Hulk Wink [;)]
Dragon E-100 Super Heavy Beasty (In progress):

Who else is in the "Zone" as of late?

In the zone and busy ! They all look great !

You've been doing your own group build - except you're doing a group of models

Line 'em all up and let the paint loose

You've been a busy modeler, indeed!

Sharp lookin' builds, Eric.

My "zones" generally last only a few hours, unfortunately...

[:0] I'd say you've got quite an assembly line going on Eric!! You're "zonen" that's for sure! I'm on the other end right now, too tired to get much done. If I sit down too long I fall asleep and don't want to land face first in a puddle of super glue. Last time I was stuck for a week before someone found me. Wink [;)] Tongue [:P] Big Smile [:D]

Keep up the good work bro. Looking forward to seeing the color shots!

Been watching the weather reports closely here. They say a warmup should begin by Friday, I can hopefully get some painting done.

Maybe I can sell some Mojo on eBay? Wink [;)]

Actually, I have only been working on them about an hour and a half per night (when I get home from work) Got a lot done this past weekend (mostly on the E-100) But, this is quite rare. I usually take quite a bit of time to get them done. Must be something in the air.

Nice work, Eric. I, like everyone else, am wishing I had the karma to get a bunch done. I have so many sitting around crying for me to finish right now, it's just rediculous!

We'll all try and send some warmer weather your way!

I have alot of that MOJO too, so I know how you feel! You can see how I've been in the Zone as well in my Third Factory Tour. Since today is going to be raining, I'll get alot more done today and have tons of MOJO to spare!

Time to go 'Zonen'!Approve [^]

You've definitely been on a roll Eric .... I consider it a great week if I get 6-8 hours on a model.

Keep the assembly line rolling !!!!

Chris, isn't that the scheme for the top?

Eric!
you are the man.
census figures have shown that long cold winters lead to an increase in the population.
but they never said it was the ARMOR population !!!

great work!

lots of german planes had it on the bottom, I'm assuming for some sort of disruptive camo, but some had complete schemes on the entire ac (like the one pictured), and thats the only drawings/Paintings that I could find on the web. (the ones on the top.)

here's one with it just on the bottom. but it isn't any good for reference, because it doesn't show the colors too good.

the scheme I'm doing is Rudolph Bertholds shown here (replica, for some reason they left off the camo on the bottom)
