Finished merkava pics.
Posted by Anonymous on Wednesday, February 25, 2004 12:53 PM
Hi there
Well here it is. Its a tamiya Merkava 1in 1/35 scale. Well lets just say that the price kind of gave it away. I bought it for R175 and wondered why it was so cheap. The avg kit goes for R350 and i wondered why it was so cheap. Then i started to build it and then realised why it was so cheap. There was a lot of cleaning up to b done . Disapprove [V] Hand painted it with Desert Yellow acrylic. Little flat black wash on all the raised sections and dusting of pastels. I scratchbuilt the tow cable{what do think}. And that is that.

Please tell me what u think. Really appreciate it.

Hi artorius. Really good job on the merkava. I can't believe it's HAND PAINTED!!!
Did you use tamiya acrylic? How did you get such a smooth finish?

Craig ... you used the wrong url to hyperlink your pics. Right click on the full sized picture, select properties, and clip that entire url between the img icons.

Nice job on the finish Craig .... your Merkava looks great !!!
