Dragon was going to release a Delta Force and Navy Seal version of the open frame dune buggy like vehicle way back in 93' but never got beyond the box art. There have been couple short run resin kits. A few years ago Hobby Boss announced they were going to release FAV model and now it looks like they are going to finally release it.
Aside the "dune buggies" used in both Gulf Wars I'm sure some will want to build it as a post apocalyptic vehicle. It looks like something out of the last two "Mad Max" movies.
I am still waiting for it to come out... I want one!!!

Where did you hear it is finally coming out? It has been on their "Coming Soon" list for years now.

FAV kit was listed on the Hobby Boss 2014-15 release list on The Perth Military Modeling Site. On the Upside it is the first listed 1/35th scale kit listed. The down side is they don't have any illustration of the scale model; just the same old photo of two different one to one scale FAVs. So which version are they releasing?

The Perth link says the Delta version. Between Hobby Boss and Trumpeter (I know they are the same company essentially) I am seeing more new release kits that I want than everybody else combined. All that Soviet stuff... oh and the Riich Models SA-3... Lord have mercy!!!!
It was on Perth 2013 and 2012 "New Release" list too. I'll believe it when I see it. I have wanted one since Dragon was going to do it. I hope it does materialize.
