Dragon's pak 43 8.8mm Waffentrager(Waffle-maker)

After working on this one for almost 4 months I have finished it, comments are Welcome!

it was finished in tamiya acrylics and i used red oxide to prime it. the decals were taken from one of tamiya's decal sheets( cant remember which one) the emblem on the left front was suposed to be from a Stug Battalion, but i was creative and assumed if the war had lasted longer that battalion might have had some waffle-makers as well.

next pic is on the drivers cabin

you guys will probably notice the gap in the track in the next pic, it was my second try on indie link tracks and it was a lot better than my first!

ammo

the kit came with ALOT of extras, so i put a MP-40 as a crew self defense weapon

chipping(hairspray method)

since the waffle-maker was a prototype the kit never came with tank maintenance item as seen on other tanks, i wanted to make it as if the tank had entered service so i found some spare leftover from a king tiger I had done a couple of years ago.  the fire extinguisher was also added(above)

thanks for looking!

Great work on an unusual subject! Waffenträger is the German word for weapon carrier though (not waffle-maker) Wink

Hey, very nice looking.!!

I liked how realistic the ammo looks, are they plastic or aluminum kit??

If I can say something, is that if the paint suffered a lot of damage to expose the red primer, I would expect more damage, dirt and bend over parts...

Thanks for sharing!
