I'm going to start on a Tamiya Cromwell - fits because it debuted at Normandy. Looking at photos from the period make it pretty clear that both sides were using foliage in the campaign. Here are some Cromwells getting ready for Goodwood in July:
I've never used foliage on a model before. There are a lot of products available to emulate it. Any tips on what to look into? Eric

A model boat is much cheaper than a real one and won't sink with you in it.
I have seen some amazing results with eduard's leaves and branches.
What you see in that picture on the Cromwell isn't foliage, its netting.
In other instances,I have used foilage from railroad modeling to camo my stuff

I've spent some more time on this and am going to try a couple of options - including one from Scenic Express. (Thing the stuff offered is called "seafoam" in Europe and is dried tumbleweed.) Will report in. Eric
