hi jcon, about the paints : enamels by revell and humbrol and model masters , washes and figs. oils by VAN GOGH , acryls by citadel colours(games workshop,figs) and for pastels i used them from REMBRANDT , to seal it all it was covert in household matt varnish from trimetal Big Smile [:D] ( did try several other brands of matt but they still had a little silk sheen to them Dead [xx(] the stuff from trimetal totaly turns matt, even spills from ca or superglue turn matt Tongue [:P]) pleased you like them , just need a desent digital camera so i can take close-ups

That 88 turned out great! What type of paints did you use on it?

Wow, looks really nice. Groundwork detail looks realistic (well kind of hard to tell from quality of pics). 88mm looks nice. Everyone's building that kit, it seems :)
can't wait to start mine, hope it comes out something like yours.
