I hope you had fun assembling those tracks on that Jagdtiger, I've built that one before and those things too forever to build.  Why did you leave off the Zimmerit on the Jagdtiger?

Tankster

MM doesn't build, he has someone that builds for him. Those link tracks are not hard at all to build if you use Doog's method. They give you realistic sag that the rubber band ones lack.

Very nice work from AI!!  I love all the different camo patterns!  BTW, I can't believe the Gepanzerte is as long as a Jagdtiger!!  Thanks for posting the pics Phaisal!!

plasticjunkie, thanks for your kind words!

Tankster, for me it's almost impossible to assemble individual tracks. But for my artists it's not so difficult. He uses more or less similar method with Doog's. I didn't know that the Jagdtiger had zimmerit, thinking that it was released late in the war and the zimmerit was 'out' already by that time.

Ernest, thanks for your kind compliments! The Gepanzerte is a 15t monster and I noticed that too. You're welcome and more are coming!

Zimmerit was on its way out by that time.  The Porsche Jagdtiger's had it because they were the "initial/early" production of the Jagdtiger.  The Jagdtiger came out in the late summer/early fall so it was still within the time frame of factory applied Zimmerit.  It was only the first Porsche and early Henschel Jagdtigers that sported it.. According to Wikipedia it was discontinued after Serial #305011
