I tend not to comment on these builds because they fall on deaf ears, but these are particularly bad builds.

The fuel truck: At first it looked like either the cab or the tank were poorly aligned but it's the side panels that aren't square. There is a big gap between the lower cab and roof. Sprue attachment scar on the right side of the round thing on top of the fuel the tank.

Kubelwagen: The oar has a BIG ejector pin mark. Heavy mold line on the convertible top which is installed crookedly. Sprue attachment points were not cleaned up on the body side and shovel.

251: Mold lines and sprue attachment point galore. The assembly of the rockets boxes is just plain sloppy: parts aren't aligned, big gaps, the right rear is not sitting on it's carrier, the rockets point every which way in the boxes.  The frames appear to be PE that were bent in assembly but never or poorly corrected. Gap between the vision port and MG support over the driver's seat. Floating tracks at both idler wheels. The first and second road wheels on the driver's side are hanging off the tracks.,

Remember, if the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

Thanks for all comments and critiques. The 251 may have many things to be desired, I think its small and thin PE parts are difficult to handle. AJ probably hasn't built this one so he doesn't know what hell is. I still like the final result anyway.

MM, you take great pride in your models and that's great. But like ajlafleche wrote, these are really not very good builds. Sprue attachment marks, mold lines and ejector pin marks are all things that could have been easily fixed. I'm sure you pay good money for these builds and deserve better quality than you're getting. You may be too nice a guy to come down on "Joh" and if that's the case maybe just start looking for other builders.

cwalker3, while I contacted other artists and asked them to work for me, it was "Joh" who asked me to give him some work. And while other artists have main occupation, Joh doesn't. He lives on model-building alone and he doesn't ask much for that. He builds not very good, but not that bad every time. And I'm not fuzzy, thinking that it's just one kit in so many thousands.

Model Maniac - the situation you describe is kinda hard for us (or is it just me?) to understrand. You say Joh prefers to charge just a little for a sub-par work he does. That's mystery number one - here where I live almost all people try to charge as much as they can and drive the quality up to justify it. And then you write you don't care about your models - that's how I understand the statemement "just one kit in so many thousands". I just don't understand?

Good luck with your collection and have a nice day

Paweł

It is because he is simply a collector and his only goal is to have the most models to show off.  He doesn't give a damn about quality, accuracy, or any of the other things we as modelers strive for.  He only cares about numbers.

Pawel, I mean I have them in thousands and I've reached my goal of having the most military models - over 4,000. Now I'm rounding up my collection, this year I've bought only 2 kits but have sold 36 and am selling more. Running out of display space and devastated twice by termite a few months apart, now I want my stash to be smaller.

Bish, you may be right. I don't have the box-art now so I don't know it says D or C.
