The Lowe comes with Indy link tracks, I just got it last week and was just looking at them. They look like Tiger II tracks. It does come with a little jig to put the tracks together. I'll have a proper look tomorrow and compare them with some spare Tiger II Fruils I have to see how similar they are just in case you still want the Fruils.

I recently had my first experience with fruil tracks for a Trumpeter KV2 big turret build and I did enjoy doing them.

They gave the vehicle a slightly different look and of course the sag value! I think that these look better than a lot of kit tracks - especially the rubber band stuff and seem to take less time to put together than the individual kit tracks.

I used my proxxon on each link with a wire brush and IMHO don't need painting!

Thanks for the info Bish :)

I agree, I am a huge fan of Fruils. I have about 30 sets ready to use. If it wasn't for the cost, I would replace all my other kits tracks as well, including the dragon kits with Magic Tracks.

The Lowe looks a nice kit. Originally I was going to get the Voyager PE set and metal barrel, but I am not even going to bother with those, which say's a lot coming from me. I am just going to use some Aber PE tool clamps and maybe a few bits out of the spares box. Seeing as I am saving on those, I might just opt for some Fruils. I have been looking at some pics, and the running gear does look the same as a Tiger II. I will let you know for certain tomorrow.

Well, I like to be prepared and be ready to build any kit if the occasion arises. And I am sticking to that excuse.

Snap, the Tiger II tracks won't work. they look the same, but the Lowes are wider. I also checked a set of E-100 tracks and no go there either. I took this so you can see what I mean. The E-100 are the rubber bands on the left.

The Lowe tracks go together easy enough, they just don't lock in place.

Afraid they won't work either. I have two sets of those for my E-50 and 75 and they are the same width as the other ones, which are ATL 16.
