If you start another one, I highly recommend the Lion Roar PE set. Its details for the SdAnh bogies are particularly good.

Gun Tech: Yep this is straight from the box and Dragon throws in alot of stuff so no need for AM it even comes with two metal barrels so you can build it as the type 36 or type 18. Here it is from SprueBrothers store.spruebrothers.com/.../dml6260.htm
Johan: the Bogies are around the same stage as the gun have been painted white washed etc. just need to paint the tools and add a few bits of model RR chain to some parts oh and paint the wheels and add them. It seems like I always forget something when I'm done airbrushing this time it was painting the rims on the tires before I cleaned and put up my airbrush

Ye, I know the feeling. I recently finished the Merit Flak 36 and at least doubled the amount of time it took to build by doing lots of scratchbuilding. I know adding PE is time consuming, but I am sure scratchbuilding takes longer.
But it was very satisfying.
I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

Bish Gun Tech, those Dragon kits do look nice, I've got the Falk 37 and plan on getting there 36, while the Tamiya kit can still be built up nicely, the Dragon kit detail is a whole different level.

I'm trying to reduce the amount of scratch building required to dress up the kit. Pretty much all the scratch I did on my Flak 37 (white plastic card/rod) seems to be represented nicely in the Dragon offering. I can't commit that amount of time on a build anymore, so for a few extra $$$, I might take the Dragon shortcut.

Hi Rambo,
The whitewash looks very good, how are the bogeys coming along?
Very Best Regards
Johan
Nicely done Clint!
Did you built it straight from the box?
I might have to get that Dragon kit if I decide to go for a Flak 36. I don't think I could go through another Tamiya 88...
Thanks for looking in Bish. The kit went together great there was alot of seams to scrape and sand but build wise couldn't ask for any better
O, another 88, nice. Good looking build. How was the kit to build.
So I haven't posted any pics of my work for awhile so I figured I would try to remember my photo bucket password and throw some pics up
I was trying to get good light just have leds at my bench so some of these was taking on top of one of are small fish tanks since that has a plant light hanging above it.
Still have a ton of stuff to do this is after the white wash a few filters and a pin wash got to go back and touch some areas up where the wash spread to far
