I thought they were the French version, helps it to move faster in a backwards type motion.

The gun used on the M50 Super Sherman was an upgraded French built version of the German Panther tank's main gun.

But back on track (pun intended) looks good to my non expert eye (ignoring the tracks).

Which kit is this? BTW, I think your tracks are reversed- the chevron lower portion should be closer to the ground when viewed from the front

Man, I just love the texture on that hull.

Maybe they are Tuskan Raiders.....they drive in single file to conceal their numbers! Big Smile

hey rob

is this the cyber-hobby kit? i read a review that said the drive spockets stuck out farther than the road wheels casusing some fit issues.

Is that an "anti- Godzilla" tank? With the big "G" and all. I like the model/ texture also. Bob

Close, but no cigar; the M4A1E8 Sherman (a similar tank) was used against Martians in the old movie War of the Worlds.

Other than the tracks, shouldn't the hull machine gun be gunmetal/black? And I think I can see a small seam on the gas/petrol can rack in the second photo (I think the cans have a seam on them in real life?)

Just a little nitpicking though- beautiful job there! The texture looks great and I love the shading/ colour modulation in the sand paint. The tracks and running gear looks nice and dirty/dusty too.

Kudos sir!
