Posted by djmodels1999 on Saturday, February 28, 2004 9:02 AM
At the Trucks'n'Tracks show in Folkestone, UK, there are a real BARV and a M10 on show. I took a few pics this morning, but is anyone interested in particular shots, details,...?

Let me know today..! Tomorroew (Sunday) is the last day of the show and thae last opportunity for me to photography the 2 vehicles..

Domi - could really use a couple of shots showing the upper exterior where the hatches for the T.C. would be located. Preferably with something to reference distance to like a ruler possibly. That's assuming that you can talk the owner into letting you get up on the catwalk.

Any other shots that you get of these 2 would be greatly appreciated.

Enjoy your day and kiss a Sherman for me !!!! Laugh [(-D]

I would think interior shot of the M10 might be helpful to someone. That is if mister ower will allow you climb up on top.
It's a little late to help my M10 but you never know I might see somethink I can still add.
Trevor Where am I going and why am I in this handbasket?

If they're kind enough to let you go in the BARV, I'd love to see some interior shots!

Tell them if they won't let you in, I might just have to come over and bug them enough to let ME do it! (I win either way!)

Robert,

I'm going to run out of bookmark space on my computer soon! LOL. I love how simple the actual conversion was! That's a SUPER site! Now I really want to build a BARV! one of these days. After my Stuarts.... T35... 1/16 T-34's... on and on and on and on. Well, I can at least get the conversion kit, right? Or, start making sheet styrene armor!

Trevor - I could not corner the owner of the M10, so I could not get onto the tank and take the pictures you wanted. Sorry. I do, however, have pics of the outside, with detail shots of the various racks and bits sticking out of the hull sides in particular...

For those interested in the BARV, I did manage to get onto that one and took pics of the top of the hull, as well as a 'walk around'. 27 pics altogether.
