What type of plane is in that deuce and a half?  That'd make a cool project.

In 1/35, the only kit I know of is a resin one by Accurate Armour out of Scotland.

A similar vehicle is the 1/35 Mirror Models Diamond T 969 Wrecker kit.

This is a similar vehicle and available in plastic kit form.

Yup, that's it. Rob comes through again! Now, for the bigger question--anyone know if there is a kit of this wrecker? I found a 1/72 version from FanKit models. FanKit also has a 1:50 version, but it's about $250 US! Anyone know anything about this maker? I'd rather build it in 1:35 and not pay so dearly. It appears to be intentionally built as a wrecker, so I don't think there is even a model of the truck as a flat bed that I could maybe scratch-build a boom winch for in 1:35. Can anyone tell me anything about that in 1:35? Thanks for your help.

This picture was posted in another discussion about another matter, but the tow truck in the foreground of the pic really caught my attention. Can anyone tell me what company made this tow truck? It looks like the boom winch was an integral part of the truck, not a later add on. If not, can anyone tell me something about the truck itself and point me to some pics of that boom winch? Thanks.
