Current builds (A break in the weather)

Finally,

We made it up in the mid 50's Friday and Saturday. Today is supposed to be around 60 Tongue [:P]

I finally got a chance to let some paint fly. Tamiya's Desert Yellow here:

I had to take a ride to the LHS because, I just couldn't come up with a Russian Green that I was satisfied with. I picked up a few jars of Testors Model Master Acryl (Russian Armor Green). I am impressed with the way the paint was applied (first time I have used this brand) It does have a distinct smell to it though. The Panzer is painted in Tamiya Dark Yellow :

I'm still working on the E-100 and my Hummer is 99.9% complete. I'm looking for some reference pics(Hummer) of the interior for painting.

Nice as always, Eric. I thing that is the first posulate of modeling- the temperature is directly proportional the paint consumption. The MM acryl does have that smell but for some reason you start to like it.Thanks for the inadvertant tip for Russian green. My t37 will eventually need it. Well when I actually build the thing, anyway. Maybe I'll get to paint at least a few little things this week on my dio. The leash and collar should be totally done my Sat. Now to find a ref for the sling for a Vietnam era M16...
