I entered my M-50 but found out later that open hatched tanks were liable for interior inspection and I guess mine lost points for it....I didnt even know that beforehand! Oh well....live and learn..

Tough break Dan .... your M-50 would have kicked some butt.

Nice picks though and hope you enjoyed the experience.

Great pictures Dan. Thanks for posting them. I am sorry to hear your M-50 did not win anything.

Dan,
Go ahead and shoot me. I judged your category on Saturday (and I didn't get to see or meet you!!!) Your Isherman was really nice. There were no points deducted from having the hatches open since you had them filled with figures. As I remember, what caused your entry to not place were the sink marks in both front headlights, seams running down the center of each jerry can handle, and mold seams on your road wheels--both those in contact with the tracks, and those in storage on the port sponson. I don't remember, but check the inside of your muzzle brake for seams as well.
Get all that taken care of, and then bring it to the Hampton Roads Open in June, and I'll bet it will have a pretty good chance of placing there.
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to e-mail me, or call me--you should have my number....

Wow thanks for the pic posts. Those are some really nice models. Too bad you failed to place.

I know what you mean about lack of shows lizardqing2. Up here there aren't too many, and it's kind of a shame, because I'd really love to attend something like this.
