Trucks'n'Tracks 2004: a few more pics...
Posted by djmodels1999 on Monday, March 1, 2004 12:24 PM

And to complete this little 'taster', I present you with my very own Gold medal entry... Despite the fact that T'n'T is primarily a 'target' type of models show, I've been known to enter an aircraft in the 'anything else' class... This year, it was my diminutive 1/144 Dassault Rafale... Smile [:)]

Thanks a lot. There was not much competition in that class, though... I was competing in that class against two aircraft, a 1/72 Type VII sub (the Revell one), and a Warhammer type of armoured figure. I was a bit surprised to see my little plane come on top...

In the AFV sections, I got a silver for my Zil 157 Spoon Rest and a bronze for my Mk IV Female (in small scale dioramas)... My very latest, the Leclerc, did not get jack... Oh well, that's life!

Congratulations, Dj! Well deserved awards, my friend. Too bad on the Leclerc. Ive seen it here and to me it deserves a medal too. Thanks for sharing the pics.

Nice little Rafale. Congrats on the gold. Good to see 1/144 plane that actually looks like its subject. Ever see Revell's F-16? Yuck!

No, I haven't seen that one Michael, and I take it it's not worth looking after one either! Their 1/144 Hunter is a gem, though!
