Hello, for reasons I can explain later I've been wanting to do a  model that represents Fritz Langanke's Panther from Normandy. I'm assuming it's a late model Panther and I know he was a PLT LDR, I've searched the internet to no avail for any info, I'd like to know what his tank would have been numbered did they retain the Kursk unit emblems? A pic of the tank would be awesome but I can't find any searching the internet. Could any of you be able to help me out on this? Thanks

Chris

Thanks, seems all I can find for now is the interview he did where he states he was the Company Commander of 2nd Co. 2nd SS Panzer Regiment, just not sure how the commanders vehicle would have been numbered. Never got around to asking him that when I knew him.

Hi Chris,

You might want to try your luck here;

forum.panzer-archiv.de/index.php

It is a German site and there is loads of interesting discussions and material there.

Very Best Regards

Johan
