I have the 1/48 Italeri Opel Blitz Tankwagen KFZ 385 in my stash and was wondering what year this version was used?
Particularly for the Luftwaffe. I realize the Opel Blitz was around since way before the war and used everywhere & for everything, but I tried to find info on when the tankwagen made it on to airfields & I've come up short.
Was wanting to use it with my JU 88 A-4 in pehaps 1941...depending on the markings I want to use on my sheet.
The decals in the tankwagen kit are for 1943 and beyond...I was going to ditch them & just use the plates...just checking if the kfz 385 was used in 1941 or earlier.
