DAK Flak 36 color scheme

Here are some captured guns in mid 1943, North Africa in original color. There are a couple of 88s in the background. Some are in the various sand shades used by the Germans or in original gray with dark yellow or sand overspray camo patterns

An interesting fact about German arty: the "18" designation was a lie -- to skirt the Versailles treaty limitations.  The actual FlaK 18 was developed later (1928?), with newer technologies.  However, this was illegal under the treaty.  By backdating it to 1918, the Germans claimed the FlaK (and other "18" designated weapons) was allowable.  

Roy's point is well taken.  Flak is an acronym of the German compound noun, Flugzeugabwehrkanone, or "against aircraft cannon."  The trailing numeras are the year of adoption.  The 8.8cm Flak 18 was adoped in 1918; the 8.8cm Flak 36, in 1936.  This much as the US used model years, such as M-1903, until the '30s, when QMC adopted a sequential per each method (Which is why there was an M-3 Medium Tank, and M-3 Light Tank, along with an M-1 Rifle coexisting with the M-1 Carbine.

@CapnMac82: that bogie indeed is the front portion of the SdAnh 201, used exclusively with the 8.8cm Flak 18, which is what's being hauled by the KM SdKfz 7 tractor.

@BarrettDuke: One should include the size gun, not just say "FlaK 36" because there also existed a 3.7cm FlaK 36 and an 10.5cm FlaK 36 as well as the 8.8cm FlaK 36.  Hope this helps.

In that first photo, is the front bogie off a FLAK 18?

Probably like the vehicles; came in the dark German gray and then camouflaged in sand while in theater. Here is an old photo to get an idea:
