just another beautiful color WWII photo I just came across on the Life archives. Great weathering reference. Not much rust or chipping visible Wink

Stik for the most part these vehicles were beat up and really dirty, sometimes I think we make them to nice and not like that these photos. A while back I built a Marder that was beat up, shot up and showed this thing was in some winter battles. Thats one of the more realistic AFV's I've built.

Yes, branches for camo were the norm in many areas. I think that is way underdone. But finding good branches to use in 1/35 or 1/48 is a challenge as well. Very nice work on the Marder BTW.
