I use regular plastic cement, like Tenax or Tamiya extra-thin. Be judicious in application, DS is sensitive. Cryo glue also works well, but tends to dry rigidly, meaning that I have to place that section of track in an area where it would normally be straight. Trivial, I know, but something I think about....

Be careful with enamel washes, could make them brittle.I use them but just to fix pigments.
Thank you. I really appreciate your advise.

There was a discussion about DS tracks disintegrating on Missing Lynx this past week. Some tracks have had this issue straight in the box without being touched. It makes me wonder if the tracks disintegrating after being weathered and installed are due to poor quality control as opposed to the type of paints used.
Same discussion on Armorama. Its strange, an equal number of builders including myself have had no problems with them.I have five builds on the shelf with DS with no problems, one six years old.It was mentioned perhaps some bad batches might be the problem.
I have only used them twice, and have painted and weathered as I do other tracks, with Acrylics and oil washes, and both of those were fine. Maybe it is bad batches.
I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so
