                        Here's a really cheap way to store those built models. Go down to your local K-Bee toys store (usually at your local mall). Ask for the 1/24th scale model display cases. They usually run about 6 dollars each "AND" they are stackable. So now you've got the dust and storage problem taken care of. All that is left is worring about the dog and the grandkids.                         Can you find Tamiya or Wave's cases over there? They're only about $10-15 US, and are pretty decent.

                        Making those dust free containers shouldn't be too difficult. See if you can find some clear sheets off polystyrene or plexiglass and cut to shape. I honestly don't know if this is expensive, but considering the markup of the stuff big sheets shouldn't be too expensive considering you can probably make several covers

                        Find a craft store. They have ready to hang wooden shelving, just paint or stain, two drywall screws and disaster is avoided. I have several in my room at eye level, really cheap and easy to do.

                        Do you know someone that is good at woodworking? A friend that can make them would a big help. Otherwise try ebay.

                        Look for any retail stores that might be going out of business or changing their display hardware.

                        I work with a woman who has a huge Barbie doll collection, and she goes to Jewlery stores to see if they are selling any old display cases and has found quite a few that way.

                        Estate sales are good spots to look too. You can find some great stuff there for your modeling needs.

                        Thanks to all you that help me, I already finished 3 models. Tanks: a Panzer II, a Semovente, a Crusader and one 88mm Gun Flak 36. My problem now is that all are in shoe boxes. The display cases that I see in Scuadron are too expensive for my pocket for the moment. Here we don't have any hobby shops that sell something similar and the shelves of my wife are Disapprove [V]"Kaput". I have space in my study but among the dust, my dog and the curiosity of my grandchildren, I have afraid of some disaster Black Eye [B)] after so many hours of work. Meanwhile I can construct my proyected little museum. I hope. Can you help me with your ideas of professionalsQuestion [?]
