It is the Feifel air cleaning system, this should help;

Goggle; "feifel air cleaner tiger" for more photos and info.

Appreciate all the tips. One more Tiger question, There are 4 pre-filter hoses in the back, two connected to the Y shaped piece but the other two seem to connect to random cones that sit on that back deck.  The instrucitons don't say much else.  Ideas?.

The antenna is rigid, not a whip, 2 meters in length or 57mm in 1/35th scale. Although the real antenna is tapered, a piece of 15 thousandths piano wire works fine. There are aftermarket ones available.

Yes, the early Tigers had radios. The ball gunner was the radio operator and the antenna was in the hull right rear. I don't think it was a whip antenna.

Was it possible for a Tiger, Initial or Early prod, to have radio antennae? If so, how many, where would they be attached and how long would they be. Long whip antennae add interest and dimension to builds, but I want this 1/35 commission build to be pretty accurate. I have some leniency from the customer. My cat has some whiskers ready to donate to the project.
