RSO tracks -the missing links
Posted by Leddy on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 11:37 AM

I am building an Italeri RSO /01 tractor and have lost a rubber band track.  Does anyone have a spare rubber band track to fit an Italeri or Peerless or Testor's RSO /01 kit?  I would like to buy it from you!

Thanks,

Leddy

Just checked my stash and discovered an Italeri RSO/3 Magrius towing a PAK 40 anti-tank gun kit. The RSO is the wooden cab version but I would imagine that the chassis and running gear is the same as your RSO/1, meaning the tracks would be common to all versions. The good news for you is that I discovered aftermarket tracks in the box, meaning that I don't need the kit ones.

You're welcome to them if you want them, on condition that I accept absolutely no financial reward whatsoever.

You can e-mail me with your name and  address if you wish at   gerry.walls@agriculture.gov.ie

The e-mail address above is my work e-mail. I won't be back to work until next Tuesday so if you e-mail me your name and address I'll send you the tracks as soon as I can get to a post office.

I'd prefer to give them to someone who actually needs them than bin them!

I'll send them in the next couple of days. They might take a few weeks to reach you, though.

Spur dog,

Sir,

The tracks arrived and they are a good fit!  I did not realize how far they came from.  Can I send e to cover mailing costs?  Thanks for your help.

Glad you got the tracks. Haven't been on this forum for a few weeks so I'm late with the reply. The mailing costs were tiny - equivalent to about a Dollar!

Just glad to be of help to a fellow modeller.
