M. Brindos That looks like a wonderful little kit. I've been thinking of getting a dragon kit in this scale and I think you just convinced me I should.

they are nice builds. i intend to build more as a break from large projects. i have 3 or 4 more DRAGON kits in the stash plus a couple of AOSHIMA and a bunch of REVELL but the tanks have length and link tracks which is annoying. their Bundeswehr trucks look like nice builds. i will probably host another 1/72 GB in a few months.

this is the DRAGON JAGDTIGER w/ porsche suspension.. i will be adding a small snow base, maybe a treeline with a road in front and some mud trails so this isn't completely weathered. this late in the war there would be little damage. primed with ACE NOW gray and airbrushed with VALLEJO AV dark yellow, the road wheels were brushed on top with superglue and foam ear plugs jammed in to apply pressure for the track sag.
silly putty mask, and VALLEJO ivory (which really needs to be thinned). no problems with paint pull off, in fact painted ivory, cleaned airbrush with VALLEJO cleaner, about 6 minutes then pulled silly putty off. a bit of touch up. i did knock off the left fender applying silly putty. guess i'm used to stronger 1/35 stuff. wanted to try something different so washed it with payne gray oil followed by prussian blue to create the illusion of cold and some dirt weathering with burnt umber, one right after the other, not waiting for one to dry completely. the color is really interesting. the ivory seems to make the dark yellow a tad greenish and the blue stands out in some lighting more than other. this is why i want a white base and some muddy trails.
