Instructions for Testors Kit No. 212 Panzer 38(t)
Posted by Melski28 on Monday, January 12, 2015 2:08 AM
Hi all, Was looking for a PDF or hard copy of the instructions for the 1/35 Testors Panzer 38 (t). Only need the page with the tank commander instructions. No results doing a search online. I see that this was a past topic of discussion and the URL mentioned (believe it had a .JP handle)comes up with a 404 error. Trying to finish the stock figure that came with the kit and wanted to use the same colors as called for in the original instructions. Thanks for any assistance! The original post had mentioned Italeri in error. Melski28

Must you have the original Italeri instructions when figure painting guides based upon the latest research and mulitple paint manufacturer's paints are easily available?

It's not as if German tankers' uniforms  painting guides are difficult to obtain.  Is it for some sort of nostalgic/group build project or something?

I should have the old vintage instructions if you can wait a couple of days for me to dig them out.

Hi Roy,

I have an extensive reference library on the subject. Basically the tank was built out of the box with little modification. Wanted to follow the original instructions to match an old rivals build that I had competed with in the past local model contest. Nothing more.

The kit instructions eliminate the TC as part of the kit. Therefore is crossed out (arrowed) and not mentioned in the i-sheets

I would take T26E4's advice and web search TC uniforms paint guide of the same era because I just checked my other Italeri kit No. 209, of the Jagdpanzer 38t Hetzer and all it describes is the color of insignia and badging on the uniform. wow, that was a run-on sentence . . .
