Or look for dried flowers, some of the leaves might the right size.

for 1/35 scale, you might want to try using dried herbs. Try oregano,parsley,rosemary dried herbs.

One method is to use tea leaves...never tried it myself but it looks great. Another would be to get some Woodland Scenics from your local railway hobby store.
