very long time ago, after watching the original Sahara movie in the 1970s, I wanted to build an M3 Lee. Back then scale didn't matter and I built the original Monogram kit. It was decent. A few years later, I saw the Airfix 1/32 scale kit. I thought it was outstanding. Then I saw the Tamiya kit in the early 1980s while in college. It was the worst of the three Lees.

Might have gotten a "Monday kit".... IIRC, I didn't have any problems with it, but it's been so long since I built one.. I built it whiledoing Monogram's Lee kit...

The plan, well... I built both for a N. Africa diorama, but the scale differences were too apparent. Couldn't put 'em in the open, so I tried a shadow box and "forced perspective", and there it was opposite because the scale sizes weren't far enough apart, lol...

Anyway, what's the major fit-problem(s)?

Well it is an old kit, first released back in the dark ages of the 1970s... Post some photos of yours...
