Flak in winter.[pics]
Posted by Anonymous on Sunday, March 7, 2004 9:05 AM
Hi there
Well i finally got round to taking pics of my Italeri Flak 38 in 1/35. I enjoyed building this little kit. I decided to go with a winter scheme. Using Humbrol Matt White ;drybrushed and then washed it. It was only my second ever model i built.[hey i only hav 5 all together]. So what do u think. Thanx for the comment guys. Really appreciate it.

Keep well.

Nice job Craig ...... I built one of these many years ago and you've certainly done better with it than I did.

Thanks for sharing.

Looks suitably frosty, especially from a person who might have never seen snow and ice before (my girlfriend from Capetown still can't get used to the cold).. Good work!

Nice winter wash , very field app look to it , I would however blacken ( burnt cordite ) the barrel end a bit more , other than that it looks great ! Michealvik ..... having a girl from a warm climate that is not used to cold weather is very beneficial on them cold winter nights .... NO ?Cool [8D]

Good job on the flak. I'm planing to build this very same one for the towed gun build. Looks really good, especially the winterized camo. Keep it up!

Umm.. well.. She can get very grumpy because of the cold.. Sometimes all one can do is act as a heater element, and thats all, for fear of death.
