Roger that, the USMC had M1A1s in Regional Command-South back in 2008. The first thing I look for to tell them apart from Army versions is the smoke grenade launchers.

None.  The M1A2 SEP v2 was fielded after we withdrew from Iraq in Dec '11,  Additionally, no US Army tanks have been deployed to Afghanistan.  So, the M1A2 SEP v2 has not seen any combat action.

I'm planning to get Dragon's M1A2 SEP v2. But before that, I want to confirm if this tank have already seen actual combat. I looked around but was not able to get a substantial fix. I love tanks but I don't want to build ones who haven't participated in any actual combat. Thanks a lot! : )
