I think the only difference between the regular and the winter version kit is an extra sprue in the latter with skis etc and two different figures. I only brought it up since I'm not sure the decal sheet in the two kits is the same.

Great to see you're set up and good to go. If you should need the decals though lemme know, I'm just tossing them in the spare decals drawer.

Thanks!  I have some decals inbound and Roy has me set up.  I don't have the winter version, but I don't think there will be any differences in the kit.  At least nothing I shouldn't be able to handle.

Jim, that's weird- I just finished the winter version of the kit. I used the common decals off the sheet as well as one of the units but the rest of the sheet is yours if you want it. There aren't but two or three common decals and they're small so you should be able to fudge them.

I'd offer you the instructions but it looks like Roy has you covered there.

Type 74 Directions and Decals

Last fall, I purchased a Tamiya Type 74 MBT at a local show.  The box showed obvious signs of water damage.  When I looked more closely after I got home I discovered that the direction and the decals were in pretty bad shape.  Is the an easy path to get replacements from Tamiya or will I have to resort to begging from you fine folks?

Thanks in advance!
